Staying COVID-19 Safe

This practice endeavours to continue to meet the needs of the community for psychological services under all circumstances. While telehealth has been an invaluable part of treatment during the pandemic, some clients, especially younger children, engage better in face-to-face sessions. As the situation continues to change our approach to offering services will be adapted. At times, restrictions may mandate that we are not able to offer face-to-face services, or services may be offered in person, but masks might be required. Currently, masks are not required during sessions.

If you or your child are suffering from symptoms of cold or flu or are under orders to self-isolate, please do not attend the clinic.

Room To Thrive offers the option of telehealth services in the form of either video or telephone sessions for those unable or preferring not to come into the clinic. Some students attend sessions while on school premises. Please note that you will need to ensure your privacy during these sessions. This means having access to a quiet and private room. Headsets or earpods are also helpful for maintaining privacy and reducing interference from background noises.
